FRCS Cybersecurity Engineering

Control Defense Systems (CDS) provides cybersecurity engineering for Department of Defense Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS), supporting A/E firms and federal construction programs with compliant, review-ready cybersecurity designs.

What is FRCS Cybersecurity?

Development and tailoring of UFGS 25 05 11 cybersecurity requirements for Building Control Systems (BCS), including building automation systems (BAS), energy management control systems (EMCS), electronic security systems (ESS), and fire and life safety systems (FLS) supporting Department of Defense installations.

CDS assists design teams in integrating these cybersecurity requirements during the design phase so that projects can meet federal compliance expectations while remaining constructible and coordinated across Divisions 21, 23, 25, and 28.
